Alan Kogan started the American Auto Insurance Agency back in 1964.  He remembers back in the old days when the phone rang, he answered it simply by saying, "INSURANCE". 

He decided then that he wanted to focus on one product line, and that was auto insurance.  This is still his focus today. 

The companies we underwrite for share Alan's focus by funneling their efforts into offering you, the consumer, automobile coverage at a reasonable price.

Who We Are

Below is a list of our staff. We believe it says a lot about the integrity of the agency, and Alan, when its employees have service records as long as ours. 

Nancy started here in 1988.  She is a licensed agent and does policy rating as well as customer service.

Kim came on board in 1989.  She is a licensed agent and does policy rating, customer service, and our computer support.

Carole joined us in 1992.  She retired in 2011 after 19 years of service.  We miss her and hope she's enjoying her grandchildren!

Mike followed in 1993. He is a licensed agent and handles policy rating and customer service.

Paul started with us in 2010.  He is our "Road Warrior".  He travels to dealership throught the entire State of Ohio, letting them know about our dealer program.

Kristy  worked for us part time for several years before coming on board full time in 2011.  She is a licensed agent and handles policy rating as well as customer service.

Connie also joined our staff in 2011.  She comes to us with 5 years of experience.  She is a licensed agent and does policy rating and customer service.

Stephanie is the newest member of our team, joining us in 2012.  She handles the front desk, answering and routing your calls, taking payments, and other reception duties.
